Pulse Logistics assisted with the move of Infiniti’s one off Q50 Eau Rouge prototype car to the USA recently, where it was going for further development. This beastie has a twin turbo charged 3.8 litre V-6 Nissan GT-R engine pushing out 560bhp and understood to be Infiniti/Nissan’s answer to BMW’s ‘M Class’ and Mercedes AMG. Pulse Logistics took delivery at Southampton port where the car was loaded securely in to a 20ft container and shipped to the USA and we arranged Customs clearance and safely delivered to it’s destination.
It was not plain sailing however, as we had to overcome a minor obstacle when the wrong chassis number was discovered on the title deeds after 50 years, but our US agent came to the rescue and resolved the issue by taking the motorcycle to the local authorities for authentication and a new title deed was issued thereafter.
After a short trip across the pond and a straight forward Customs clearance, the proud owner took delivery of his shiny new possession without a scratch or dent and was last seen riding it around the New Forest with a huge grin on his face!
